    Ordering products over the Internet is convenient, and Specialized Care Co. makes sure that the order process is secure as well. That's because our site supports web standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encoding for credit-card orders.

    SSL works with Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, and AOL browsers and encrypts (puts into code) all of the information you enter during the ordering process. Even if the transmission of your order were interrupted over the Internet, SSL would prevent anyone from accessing your name, address, and credit-card number.

    The Netscape, Explorer, and AOL browsers display standard icons at the bottom of your screen to indicate that SSL encryption is activated during the ordering process. Look for a gold key in Netscape or an engaged lock in Explorer and AOL to confirm Specialized Care Co, Inc.'s use of SSL.

    Browser Notice:
    If your browser has not been updated to its latest version, you may encounter a warning message regarding security during the transaction process. This is a product of browser incompatibility only. Specialized Care Co. guarantees that transactions conducted through its secure shopping link are 100% secure.

    No Sales Tax:
    Specialized Care Co. operates exclusively in the State of New Hampshire, which is a no sales tax state. All of our products are tax free.

    Orders over $400, foreign orders, or expedited orders - we will calculate specific shipping charges for your order and send them to you via e-mail. We will not ship your order until you approve the shipping charges.
        
    To Order by Mail
    If your organization uses a Purchase Order system, or if you wish to send a check by mail, you may go through the process of ordering online until the last page. Instead of pressing the "Submit Order" button, print the order page. It will most likely be two pages that you can either send to your Ordering Department, or add a check made out to Specialized Care Co, Inc. and mail to us at: Specialized Care Co, Inc.,Sales Dept., 24 Stickney Terr Unit 2, Hampton, NH 03842-4902 USA.

    International Ordering
    International Calls: To phone or fax us from outside the US or Canada, dial 011 prior to our numbers in area code 603. The toll-free 800 number can be dialed directly from Canada, but it is not accessible from other international locations.

    Shipping Information
    We ship to addresses within the Continental U.S. by UPS or by USPS.

    UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes and FPO/APO addresses. Orders to these addresses will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service.

    We will make every effort to ship your order within 48 hours of receipt. If, as occasionally happens, we have a backorder on an item you have requested, we will advise you of the delay within 24 hours of receipt of your order.

    Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, territories and international: Please inquire via e-mail, fax or phone regarding shipping options and costs.

    Expedited Service: Please inquire via e-mail, fax or phone regarding options and costs.

    A $5.00 handling surcharge will be added for each Rainbow Stabilizing Board in your order.


    Specialized Care Co Inc. Returns Policy


    What can be returned: You may return any merchandise in its original condition within 30 days of receiving it for a full product refund. You may return any item due to defective materials or workmanship (normal wear & tear excepted) for up to 6 months from the date of receiving it for a full refund. Other requests will be on a case-by-case basis.


    How to return an item: In order to return or exchange an item, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). E-mail us at info@specializedcare.com, or call us at 800/722-7375 to obtain an RMA.

    Once you receive your RMA, please pack the item with appropriate packing and taping, and include the following with your return:

    The RMA number
    The name and address on the original order
    A phone number where we can reach you
    Your e-mail address
    The reason for returning the merchandise
    Whether you want a refund or replacement merchandise.


    How to ship your return: We suggest that you use a method of shipment that allows for tracking and/or delivery confirmation. Any package that has not been received by Specialized Care Co Inc. and for which tracking information cannot be provided will be the responsibility of the shipper. If it is more convenient for you, we can provide a return label for your use. The cost of this label may be deducted from your refund, depending on the reason for the return (more information below).

    Who pays for the shipping of a return: If the issue with the merchandise is a fault of ours (example: wrong item shipped), we will pay for all shipping charges. If the reason is something that you control (changed your mind, ordered the wrong item by mistake, etc.), we will refund the cost of the product, but you will be responsible for the shipping charges.
